Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit (ICCU)

The role involves providing specialized nursing care in a 20-bed Intermediate Critical Care Unit, focusing on patients with conditions such as sepsis, diabetes, congestive heart failure, COPD with non-invasive respiratory support, and stable tracheostomies not requiring mechanical ventilation. Responsibilities: Prioritize building personalized relationships with patients and families, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care strategies, and manage procedures including titratable drips, chest tubes, BiPAPs, high flow oxygen, and stable tracheostomies. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, with preferred one year of relevant experience. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Reactivation of an inactive license may require a refresher course. Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and empathy to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a critical environment.
