Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Phlebotomist in a clinical setting in the region. Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of blood and urine specimens

Perform venipuncture to collect blood specimens efficiently and safely

Observe and collect urine specimens from patients, including observed and supervised collections

Properly identify patients before specimen collection following departmental policies

Label and document specimens accurately and prepare them for shipment

Demonstrate excellent customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staff

Communicate effectively with a diverse patient population

Follow Universal Precautions and OSHA standards when handling specimens

Strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

Inform supervisors of low-volume shifts, unusual issues, or deviations from established procedures

Maintain neat, clean, and organized patient and work areas

Manage office and processing supplies as needed

Minimum of 6 months of recent venipuncture experience in a hospital, lab, or clinical environment

Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a medical setting

Reliable work ethic with consistent attendance and punctuality

Strong computer skills, including managing multiple programs, email, and report generation

Fast, accurate data entry skills

Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues

No new graduates; minimum of 6 months of recent hands-on experience required

Certification in phlebotomy or equivalent preferred

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Physical capability to perform frequent walking, sitting, bending, lifting, and other activities involved in specimen collection

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 am to 1 pm, totaling 40 hours per week

Experience in urine drug screen collections and venipuncture within hospital or lab environments is highly desirable
