Job Description Set up and fit detailed parts on aircraft, aerospace and similar assemblies. Perform hand grinding, expanding and hand fitting to blueprint dimensions for heliarc tacking, welding and/or resistance welding. Summary Under general supervision, perform a variety of job duties including welding operations, trimming, filing, grinding, setting up assembly jigs, rework and repair. Maintain minimum output of 65% and product quality acceptance of 90%. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Align machined details or stampings preparatory to welding operations. Trim, scribe, file or grind parts to templates or scribed lines. Set up single jobs in assembly jig for welding. Assist higher‑classified workers as required. Perform rework, repair and other associated operations relating to the work described. Maintain minimum output of 65%. Maintain minimum product quality acceptance of 90%. Follow all Senior policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards. Qualifications High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 3‑6 months of related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Benefits and Compensation Annual target salary: $47,840.00. Monday‑Friday 2nd Shift 3:30 pm – 12:00 am.
