Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to bring their expertise and passion to support K-12 students in Midland, Texas, for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, contract role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on a manageable caseload of 32 students, ensuring each child receives the individualized attention they deserve.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license (required)
- Clinical fellowship (CFY) candidates and those holding CCCs are welcome
- Experience with pediatric and school-based speech-language services
- Strong foundational skills in SLP within healthcare and educational settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and record-keeping abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to student goals
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to create a positive and effective learning environment
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
