Electrical Superintendent

The Opportunity

An established electrical contractor in Atlanta is looking to add an experienced Electrical Superintendent to their field operations team.

The company has a strong pipeline of data center, industrial, and commercial projects across the Atlanta market, providing an opportunity to work on technically complex, high-value electrical installations with a respected contractor.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day field operations, leading electrical crews and coordinating closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day electrical field operations on assigned projects.
• Supervise electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily/weekly work activities.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities with the Project Manager and General Contractor.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
• Track project progress and ensure work remains on schedule.
• Coordinate with other trades to resolve field conflicts and maintain project flow.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and enforce company safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality and ensure installations meet project specifications and applicable codes.
• Identify potential delays, material shortages, and field issues before they impact the project.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on field progress.
• Support commissioning, punch-list, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, GCs, subcontractors, and project teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with previous Superintendent or Foreman experience.
• Strong commercial, industrial, or data center electrical construction background.
• Experience leading large electrical crews and coordinating multiple work activities.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, codes, and construction processes.
• Ability to plan manpower and materials effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects safely, efficiently, and to schedule.
• Experience working with General Contractors and other trades.
• Proficiency with construction technology such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience preferred.
