Duties

Duties include but are not limited to:

• The incumbent is expected to remain privileged and practice in their specialty field.

• Systems-Based Practice: Physicians are expected to demonstrate an understanding of the contexts and systems in which health care is provided and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve optimizing health care.
• Perform the full range of gynecologic surgical procedures (laparoscopy, robotic and hysteroscopy) and in-office gynecologic procedures including LARC, vulvar and endometrial biopsy, colposcopy, LEEP, pessary fittings and hysteroscopy.
• Be willing to care for the unique needs of our female veterans which includes special training in PTSD and MST (military sexual trauma).
• Physician will have assigned OR block time and scheduled clinic times.
• Ensuring the timely completion of medical record documentation.
• Completing annual TMS training.
• Proper clinical management including indirect/direct patient care: open encounter and open consult maintenance, CPRS documentation requirements, and monitoring of clinic management.
• Maintains involvement in matters concerning clinic productivity, relevant performance measures, quality and patient safety oversight, and process improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule: Part Time, Various. Work schedule will be discussed upon interview.
