Job #: 23-00995 Pay Rate: Not Specified Job type: contractor Location: Scottsdale, AZ Responsibilities: Installation of new releases of the Client operating system, along with system maintenance and fixes. Manage and maintain storage and local disks. Handle Safecom and user management. Maintain and manage SQLMP, SQLMX, and associated tables. Manage and maintain Pathways, web servers, and SOAP servers. Install, implement, and support vendor software products. Monitor systems, set up alerts, identify problems, analyze, and resolve issues. Participate in IT projects, collaborating with project managers, application developers, and support teams. Communicate regularly with technical, application, and operations staff regarding Tandem operations. Manage RDF and Autosynch processes. Monitor system performance and perform tuning. Duplicate backup tapes using the BACKCOPY utility. Monitor tape usage. Compress or decompress files using PAK/UNPAK utilities. Analyze and generate disk space usage reports with DSAP. Monitor PTLF growth size and FUP info. Monitor EMS events, especially station/link down events, hardware, and software issues. Monitor hardware status using OSM. Oversee all application processes. Perform tasks related to applications. Hands-on experience with Tandem Advanced Command Language (TACL). Use the File Utility Program (FUP) and the FUP INFO command. Handle hardware migration, hardware refresh, and OS upgrades. Perform complex OS upgrades. Handle escalated and complex issues. Stay informed about the latest Tandem hardware, such as NS-4 and NS-8. Possess basic application knowledge for support from a Tandem perspective. Manage system performance and capacity. Knowledge of automation and scripting is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr TechDigital Group
