Operations Manager

Our client needs an Operations Manager for its Investment Casting operation. This is a new role being created with the intent of promoting this person to the role of General Manager (Plant Manager) in a few years. This is an excellent, growing company and they need someone with a growth mindset. They produce parts primarily for the aerospace and defense industries. This company "is setting the standard for excellence and innovation in the foundry sector!" You will report to the General Manager who is a decisive leader committed to fostering growth and innovation. What they are looking for: Expertise in Investment Casting Operations Management and understanding of the technical issues surrounding Investment Casting. 7+ years’ Experience in Production Leadership. Exposure to Improvement Initiatives. Working Knowledge of Six Sigma Problem-Solving Techniques. BS in Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Equivalent Experience preferred.
