Job Title: Nurse Manager II - Operating Room Location: Hillsboro, OR Salary Range: $171,000 - $180,000 per year Position Summary A large, integrated healthcare system is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee Operating Room nursing operations at an acute-care hospital. This is a full-time senior nursing leadership opportunity within a high-volume surgical program. Core Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the hospital Operating Room department
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and on-call coverage to support all surgical service lines
• Lead and develop OR nursing staff through hiring, performance management, and professional growth programs
• Oversee perioperative quality metrics, patient safety initiatives, and surgical site infection prevention protocols
• Partner with surgical faculty, anesthesia, and hospital leadership to optimize OR throughput, efficiency, and quality
• Manage department budget including labor, supply chain, and capital equipment planning
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, AORN standards, and state requirements
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for adverse events, near misses, and quality variances
• Oversee onboarding and competency validation for all new OR nursing and surgical tech staff
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex clinical, staffing, and operational issues within the OR

• Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon required
• Minimum of 4 years of OR or perioperative nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing leadership or charge nurse experience
• Strong working knowledge of surgical service lines, instrumentation, and perioperative nursing standards
• Proven ability to manage staff and operations in a high-volume, high-acuity surgical environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• CNOR certification preferred; BLS and ACLS required
