Job Details:

• Block schedule required working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with 2 additional 8-hour shifts at variable hours per week
• Always two consecutive days off each week
• Weekend shifts required on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• On-call required 2 to 4 nights per month
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Night shift position responsible for both CT and radiology exams
• Perform routine CT and radiology-related exams including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging with and without contrast
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, and older adults
• Emergent interventional radiology cases may be performed in CT on an as-needed basis
• Charting system experience required;
  Epic used at facility
• Experience with at least one of the following imaging systems required: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT CT
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Scrub color: any color accepted;
  OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child scrubs provided by facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities;
  refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 109 total staff beds and 96 patient beds, providing a full range of diagnostic imaging and radiology services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more. The imaging department staffs CT technologists on night shift to manage both CT and radiology exams, with additional on-call support available as needed.
