Business Analyst

Overview: Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Louisville, KY Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and business teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to clarify requirements and align expectations.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and design teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
- Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and propose improvements to business processes.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and ensuring business objectives are met.
- Create and maintain documentation including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and workflow diagrams.
- Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions, analyzing issues, and recommending enhancements.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects (or domain-specific projects if required).
- Strong skills in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and experience writing user stories.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
