RN - Med/Onc - Nights

Position RN - Medical Oncology Unit Location Edward Main Hospital – Naperville Hours & Schedule Full Time: 36 hours per week. Nights 7:00 pm–7:30 am with rotating weekends and holidays. Pay Range Hourly: $36.00 – $55.80 (based on expertise and years of experience). Responsibilities Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (preferred) Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if Associate Degree is highest, must graduate with a Bachelor’s within five years of position start date. At least 1 year of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting. Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure. Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within one year of start date into position.
