Primary Care Physician - Prescott

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Primary Care Physician, you will join our established and growing healthcare team in Prescott, specializing in providing comprehensive primary care for patients and families across all ages and making a significant impact on their lives.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting, diagnose and treat disorders and diseases, perform patient exams, and order diagnostic testing. You will develop ongoing treatment and disease‑management plans, prescribe medication, coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early‑detection screenings, and maintain accurate patient records and charts.

To be successful in this role, you will be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and demonstrate excellent clinical skills, a dedication to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care, effective communication skills, and thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Patient population – 18+; Geriatric
• Work shift: 4 or 5 days per week
• Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week
• Volume: 20‑24 patients per day
• EMR: Cerner
• Procedures – suture removal, cyst removal, wound care, EKG, cryogenic derm, etc. (varies by experience)
• Call: Up to 4 times per month, including weekend 24‑hr call and weekday 5‑8am on‑call
• No shift call – just after‑hours on‑call
• Panel position: provider expected to see new patients, acute visits, annual wellness, ER follow‑ups, etc.

Job Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME‑approved Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Current Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona as an MD or DO
• Valid DEA certificate
• New graduates considered
