Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An urgent opening is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy located in a unique retail setting. This position requires an immediate start and offers a contract duration of 4-6 weeks, with the possibility to extend. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8-hour shifts.
Key responsibilities include providing exceptional patient care and communication, supporting HIV/AIDS medication dispensing, and collaborating closely with patients and healthcare providers. The role demands reliability, punctuality, and a positive professional attitude.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
- HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience is essential and must be clearly noted on the resume.
- Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred—please confirm experience during application.
- Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare providers.
- Commitment to dependable attendance and timely performance.

- Candidates must be prepared to work independently, as the pharmacist will be operating without a pharmacy technician support.
