Job Title: Contract Registered Nurse - Emergency Department in Gallup, New Mexico.

Gross Weekly Pay: $2520/week. 36 hrs/week.
Shift: Nights. 3x12.. Every other weekend required.
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required. MINIMUM of 2 years of ER exp required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. As a Contract RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment.
• Perform wound care and other nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and completely in the electronic health record.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate intervention.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience as an RN in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.

Licensing Requirements:
