HR COORD/TA HOSPITALITY

Location: NY, New York, NY, US. Salary: $25.00 To $25.00 Hourly. Proper Hospitality Solutions (PHS) is an industry leading hotel staffing and maintenance employer in the NYC market. We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable HR Coordinator/Talent Acquisition professional to join our growing team. As an HR Coordinator/Talent Acquisition professional, you will support our efforts and partners through the execution of administrative tasks, including onboarding and offboarding, recruiting, auditing documents, and various employee relations initiatives. Responsibilities Build professional and informative interactions with all partners Precisely and effectively complete all allocated assignments Monitor, review and assess applicants through various job boards; maintain job postings; coordinate interviews Craft job postings as necessary Onboard and offboard applicants Aid in management of personnel files, I‑9s, and other compliance matters Maintain applicant, interview, and various other logs Follow the most recent state and government legislative codes, laws, and prerequisites Identify issues, create or provide solutions, and take action to ensure that guest‑related issues are resolved promptly with the best possible outcome for guest satisfaction Travel to site location throughout NYC Job Requirements At least 2 years of previous hotel human resources/recruitment experience required in NYC or another major market Must be fluent in Spanish; working knowledge of other languages is helpful Familiarity with high‑volume talent acquisition Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detail in a fast‑paced work environment Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction Capable of standing for prolonged periods of time Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, and carry multiple objects Flexible schedule to include day shift, night shift, weekends and holidays Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated success managing a high volume of time‑sensitive administrative tasks Ability to persevere through challenges with tenacity and a positive attitude Insatiable curiosity, eagerness to question the status quo, and desire to share knowledge Exceptional attention to detail and deep sense of pride in your work Ability to proactively balance multiple time‑sensitive tasks and anticipate next steps Passion for delivering human resources support to small and medium‑sized businesses Familiarity with ATS (Indeed, ZipRecruiter) Local candidates only Excellent verbal and written communication skills Be able to speak, write and understand the primary language of the workplace Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds Proficiency in MS Office, working knowledge of Google Suite and possess basic computer skills Experience with WorkForceNow and ATS preferred Education High school or equivalent (Required) 2‑Year/4‑Year Degree from an accredited college or university (Preferred) License/Certification Relevant advanced trainings and certifications preferred Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
