Quick Facts Location: 607 Beaman Street, Clinton, NC 28328 Start Date: 07/23/2026 End Date/Duration: Negotiable based on assignment Shift: 24-hour call Hours/Week: Based on scheduled calls and consults Employment Type: Locum tenens Licenses/Certifications: Active North Carolina license, NC DEA, Board Certification Experience: Prior orthopaedic surgery experience required Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (pay package discussed upon application) Pay & Benefits Pay Package: Discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time as per applicable laws Certifications, licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Onsite hospital-provided accommodations (with Wi-Fi and cable) Travel expenses capped at $500 What You’ll Do Provide general orthopedic surgical care, including management of wrist, ankle, hip, and long bone fractures Handle consultations and assist with ED visits related to closed reductions and admissions Perform 0-2 surgeries daily, including fracture repairs and I&D procedures Stabilize long bones and coordinate transfers when necessary Respond promptly to 24-hour call duties and ensure onsite availability within 20 minutes Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and credentialing requirements What You Need Required: Valid NC medical license and NC DEA registration Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery Enrolled with Medicaid/Medicare and PECOS Vaccination against COVID-19 Preferred: Prior experience in hospital-based orthopaedic trauma Ability to handle multiple consults and procedures efficiently About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Clinton, North Carolina, renowned for its welcoming environment and commitment to quality patient care.
