Position Summary Document Technical Specialist I is an entry‑level role that focuses on document review and data input into the Program Lifecycle Management system for engineering projects. The position reports to the Lead Engineer, Technical Services and has no direct reports. Key Responsibilities Perform data input of document information under general supervision. Secure documents for archiving in accordance with the EN9100 quality system. Coordinate final sign‑off of documents with the appropriate engineering lead. Review engineering documents for accuracy and compliance with quality management processes. Validate supplier data for accuracy. Provide support to colleagues in retrieval of documents. Maintain effective communication, coordination and working relationships with area staff and management. Assume related duties as required or assigned. Requirements Knowledge of aircraft design concepts, industry design standards and FAA regulations. Experience in data entry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills. Success Factors / Job Competencies Excellent understanding of company operations and needs. Able to prioritize projects and multitask. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Standard English, including technical and engineering vocabulary. Must adhere to all established safety policies, processes and procedures. Work Environment The job includes indoor settings such as office and warehouse/airplane hangars, requiring standard office equipment, and outdoor settings including airplane runways and parking lots. Noise levels can be occasionally loud. Workers may be exposed to varying temperatures, from extreme heat above 100°F to extreme cold below 32°F, as well as fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to extreme conditions is expected. Work Authorization / Security Clearance Must be able to legally work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
