Personal Injury Pre-Litigation and Litigation Attorney

You will lead our litigation department in with a team of likeminded, collaborative, and results-driven professionals who are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service.

The Opportunity

As a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney at Avaness Law, you will have the opportunity to handle meaningful personal injury cases, advocate for injured clients, and play a key role in driving cases toward successful resolution. This position is ideal for an attorney who is confident in litigation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about fighting for clients.

Accountable for

• Handling personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution
• Drafting, reviewing, and arguing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Taking and defending depositions
• Developing legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and efficiently for clients
• Representing clients in mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings
• Working closely with support staff, paralegals, and case managers to move cases forward effectively
• Managing a litigation caseload with attention to deadlines, detail, and client communication

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
• At least two years of experience in personal injury litigation
• Strong litigation, negotiation, research, and writing skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Trial experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to the office location

Compensation

$100,000 - $200,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and performance
