Assistant Professor of Finance

Position Summary College of Business, Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a tenure‑track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Finance , beginning Fall 2026. Responsibilities Teach finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including MBA, MSF, PhD, and executive programs. Maintain an active program of research and publications appropriate for AACSB scholarly qualifications at an R1 institution, with an emphasis on publishing in top‑tier, peer‑reviewed finance journals. Participate in service to the department, college, university, community, and profession. Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate in finance or a closely related field from a university with AACSB or equivalent accreditation, conferred by the effective date of employment. Demonstrated record of excellence as an instructor of record at an AACSB or equivalent accredited university. Strong quantitative skills (Python, R, SAS, Stata, or similar) and expertise in current empirical finance methods and databases used in finance research. Certification or experience in online teaching is preferred. Evidence of scholarship beyond the dissertation is preferred. Research and teaching interests across all areas of finance are welcome, including asset pricing, corporate finance, financial institutions & markets, investments, and international finance.
