Base: $80-100k for 1950hrs per year 
The company runs a unique model of allowing employees to work a min of 35hr weeks June to November. As employees work over the 1950 hours, they will accumulate additional pay in line with their billing rate. This makes the pay range the same as other firms, but less hours are required in the offseason.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements, including planning, fieldwork, workpaper review, and completion.
• Manage and oversee staff members assigned to jobs under the senior’s direction.
• Handle tax work for assurance clients when capacity and client needs require it.
• Coordinate with tax senior staff when tax work should be delegated based on availability and fit.
• Build client relationships and provide practical accounting guidance.
• Identify accounting issues and help clients resolve underlying bookkeeping or financial statement problems.
• Support clients across industries, with construction-industry experience considered a plus.

Ideal Background

• Public accounting assurance experience with the ability to lead engagements.
• Experience supervising or reviewing staff work preferred.
• Exposure to tax preparation or willingness to handle some tax work for assurance clients.
• Smaller-firm or hands-on client accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong practical accounting foundation; ability to help clients fix issues, not just identify them.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred, depending on experience.
