Mental Health Program Manager | Lead With Purpose

Description: About the Role

The H.U.F. Center is seeking a confident, mission-driven Program Manager to lead our Psychosocial Day Support Program serving adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strong clinical outcomes. You’ll lead from the front - supporting your team, maintaining structure, and ensuring high-quality care.

What You’ll Do

Lead daily program operations and supervise on-site staff
Provide coaching, accountability, and performance oversight
Ensure documentation and services meet DBHDS standards
Conduct quality assurance reviews of client records
Support crisis intervention and guide staff during high-acuity situations
Maintain a small caseload and facilitate groups as needed
Partner with leadership to improve program performance and outcomes

Qualifications

Active Virginia QMHP certification (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field
Minimum 3 years of mental health experience
Supervisory experience required
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license
