Community Support Technician - Part time - Client Specific-

Job Description

Location: Wilmington, NC | Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., with some weekend hours available | Hours: Approximately 10 hours per weekAbout the RoleUniversal MH/DD/SAS is seeking a dependable, compassionate Community Support Technician to provide one-on-one Community Living and Supports services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will help the person supported build independence, participate in the community, and work toward personal goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized support in home and community settings.Assist with daily personal needs while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.Teach and reinforce habilitative and independent-living skills.Support participation in meaningful community activities.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseReliable transportationBenefitsCompetitive wagesDental insuranceVision insuranceTelehealth access through Teladoc401(k) with company matchMedical insurance for eligible full-time employeesAbout Universal MH/DD/SASUniversal MH/DD/SAS is a comprehensive, statewide, CARF-accredited community human services organization dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders achieve their full potential to live, work, and grow in their communities.
