This contract occupational therapy position offers an opportunity to work directly with students in an engaging school environment near Garysburg, NC. Key Details:
Assignment Duration: November 2, 2026 – February 26, 2027
Part-time, 10–12 hours per week
Onsite position within a supportive educational setting
More information on specific caseloads and expectations will be discussed during the interview process
Desired Qualifications:
Current North Carolina OT licensure in good standing
Experience in a school setting is a plus, though enthusiasm for working with school-aged children is highly valued
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Demonstrated strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students
What You’ll Do:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver direct therapy services tailored to student needs
Provide recommendations and strategies for classroom and home support
Document progress and maintain compliance with IEP goals and school policies
Consult with teachers and staff to promote student access and participation within their learning environment
