Mechanic/ Property Maintenance tech to join a large family owned commercial roofing company in North Little Rock.

Job Duties

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on small engines and equipment

Service and maintain generators and rooftop equipment

Inspect, maintain, and repair SkyTrak/telehandler equipment

Perform inspections, maintenance, and basic repairs on boom trucks

Inspect and maintain crew cab trucks and company vehicles

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs

Perform oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, fluid checks, and other preventative maintenance

Keep records of equipment maintenance and repairs

Maintain tools, equipment, and mechanical areas in an organized condition

Perform general property and facility maintenance at the company shop

Help maintain the shop grounds, buildings, storage areas, and equipment

Identify safety or maintenance issues and address them promptly

Assist with keeping company equipment clean, organized, and ready for crews

Work with management to schedule larger repairs or outside services when necessary

Perform other maintenance and mechanical duties as needed

Qualifications

Mechanical or equipment maintenance experience preferred

Experience working on small engines, trucks, heavy equipment, or construction equipment

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform repairs

Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

Ability to safely operate and maintain shop equipment

Valid driver’s license

Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Construction or commercial roofing experience is a plus, but not required

This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities so flexibility and willingness to tackle whateve needs to be done to keep our crews working is important.
