Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Description

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who is eager to support Waystar leadership by analyzing sales and operational data to uncover actionable insights. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving data-informed decisions that maximize business performance and deliver insights that help drive improved outcomes for healthcare providers.

• Responsible for collecting, organizing, and reviewing data from multiple sources.
• Develop reports and dashboards.
• Identify key trends and patterns that inform process improvements.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, understandable narratives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support initiatives across sales, marketing, product development, and client operations.
• Review and analyze data from key programs.
• Build insight narratives and drive improvements in various business areas.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, analytics, or data science.
• Strong aptitude for data manipulation tools.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to diverse audiences.
• Enjoys digging into data and contributing to impactful projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and complex modeling.
• 1+ years of experience in operations or other data-related fields.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to distill complex analyses for management.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally.
• Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and execute many concurrent tasks.
