Overview Physician Laborist - OBGYN Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a Physician Laborist to join our team in a collaborative network with system-wide support. You will work alongside a motivated and skilled OBGYN/Laborist team delivering patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. About The Position Includes managing labor, delivery, and ED inpatient consults. 1.0 FTE = 84 24-hour shifts annually; approximately 7 shifts per month. Opportunities for part-time work also available. Flexible scheduling options. Weekday start time 7:00 AM; weekend start time 7:30 AM. Qualifications Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority Located in Renton, Washington, Valley Medical Center is affiliated with the University of Washington Medicine System and is the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider between Seattle and Tacoma, serving more than 600,000 residents. Compensation & Benefits Compensation : $5,000 per 24-hour shift. $25,000 sign-on bonus.
