Quality Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Test machines according to paperwork, make sure they operate properly, troubleshoot machines if there is a problem and fill out paperwork properly. Knowledge of high and low pressure plumbing. Must be able to operate forklift. Be able to use hand tools such as pipe wrench, wrenches, impact, drills, etc. Meet production demands. Properly test machine per paperwork. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals; compute rate, ratio, percent; draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Basic computer skills. Forklift license. Physical demands: ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds. Work environment: moderate noise levels.
