Fortune Electric American inc , a subsidiary of a Taiwanese publicly traded company in US, is actively looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Assistant to join our team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to advance in the logistics field, potentially growing into a Logistics Coordinator role. We are willing to provide training for candidates without prior experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receive power transformer dimensions and weight data from overseas teams and coordinate with freight forwarders and 3PL providers to obtain shipping quotes.
• Prepare cost comparison summaries for management review and approval.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to Sales, Service, Job Site Managers, Accounting, and customers.
• Work directly with logistics vendors and carriers to resolve shipping issues, delays, or oversized cargo challenges, and collaborate with headquarters and internal teams to identify cost-effective solutions and minimize overage charges.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and confirm shipment completion.
• Generate and submit freight invoices to Accounting for processing and approval.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and support logistics operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• BS or AS degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong numerical reasoning skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
