Catering Services Worker

Job Description

The Catering Service Worker supports the setup, service, and breakdown of catered events of various sizes. This role helps ensure that all catering standards are met while delivering polished, professional service to guests.

Job Responsibilities

Follow all safety guidelines and workplace procedures while performing assigned tasks.

Assist with event setup, including food presentation, table arrangements, and equipment placement.

Provide excellent guest service through courteous, timely, and professional interactions.

Work closely with team members and supervisors to support smooth event operations.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in service areas.

Help with event breakdown and properly store catering equipment and supplies.

Complete side work duties and stay on task during events and shifts.

Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast?paced environment under time constraints.

Participate in required training programs to maintain knowledge of catering procedures and standards.

Follow all company policies and procedures and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, food service, or banquet environments preferred.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to stay calm, professional, and effective in busy or high?pressure situations.

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

• Must possess a valid Oregon State Driver?s License, OLCC Alcohol Server Permit, and Food Handler Card

This role may require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying trays or equipment, and extended periods of walking or standing. Use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
