Wherever you are in the world, we’re committed to shaping the next generation of financial experiences.Join us as we go beyond and be part of a team that’s redefining what’s possible. **IMPORTANT NOTE:***Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.* *This position requires candidates to be based in Denver location with an expectation to work from the office at least three days per week.* *Please note that relocation assistance is not provided.***Sr. Accountant** **Roles and Responsibilities:*** Ensure timely completion of accounting close process responsibilities.* Serve as the General Ledger Accounting, Reporting, and Finance Business Partner for: + Corporate (including M&A, restructuring, and bonus programs) + Compliance & Risk + Legal + CFO Organization + People Organization + Corporate Strategy & Development + U.S. and Canada Payroll + Benefits* Analyze complex financial transactions and reporting activities, including accounting reserves, asset capitalization, and expense recognition.* Prepare, review, and certify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting records.* Prepare account reconciliations and roll-forwards and ensure reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner.* Provide financial reporting, analysis, and accounting guidance to management and business partners.* Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and implement process improvements.* Participate in and support accounting projects, including system implementations, new business initiatives, and accounting standard changes.* Function as an accounting liaison and may provide guidance and direction to less experienced accounting staff.* Assist with internal and external financial statement audits, SOX compliance activities, and other control audits.**Basic Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.* 4+ years of financial accounting experience.* 4+ years of experience accounting for payroll, payroll-related accruals, employee compensation programs, and payroll reconciliations.* Experience supporting business partners across corporate functions and providing financial analysis and reporting.* Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.* Microsoft Excel. **Preferred*** Experience supporting U.S. and Canada payroll processes is preferred.* Proficiency in Oracle and other financial reporting tools preferred *We make financial services accessible to humans everywhere.
