Electro-Mechanical Tech 4

Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 Responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on the conveyor system. Acts as a senior material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Ocala, FL site location. Aids and mentors lower-level employees. Shift schedule: 4 days on and 3 days off, working 12-hour shifts. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $34 to $38 an hour at the time of posting. Responsibilities Repair and maintain material handling equipment (belt tracking, component adjustment or replacement, lubrication, etc.). Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry. Create and close work orders in the asset management system with accurate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Investigate conveyance problems and determine resources needed to resolve them. Locate and track spare parts from inventory. Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure compliance with specifications. Aid in training customers to operate equipment. Respond to service calls, correcting equipment failures and faults. Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training or certification preferred. 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area, demonstrating senior-level knowledge. Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of key tasks. Ability to be customer facing, maintaining professional communications through email and in‑person conversations with onsite customers, Dematic leadership, and technicians. Experience leading projects, teams, and directing day‑to‑day operations and tasks to onsite maintenance team. Physical Demands Lift and move material up to 50 pounds each. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds. Climb ladders and gangways safely without limitation. Work conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes or odors, hot or cold temperatures, noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
