Job Title: Main Desk Receptionist/Marketing Assistant

Location: Centralia, IL

Job Type: Full-Time – 32 hours (M-Th 8:00 am - 4:00 pm)

Position Overview: We are seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for in-person and phone engagement. This role is essential to maintaining our client-focused environment by ensuring that all interactions are handled with warmth, discretion, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and accurately direct callers to appropriate staff for assistance.
• Perform appointment scheduling and maintain advisors’ calendars.
• Contact clients to obtain personal information related to new accounts and servicing.
• Provide administrative support to team members, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
• Ensure confidentiality of client information and adherence to compliance standards.
• Assist with internal communications and client service tasks as needed.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous receptionist or front-desk experience strongly preferred.
• Background in a financial services environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable learning new systems.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.

You will join a multi-Advisor practice operating in central Illinois and St. Louis metro east. Additionally, EWS has a team of support professionals specializing in financial planning, investments, life insurance, and annuities, as well as operational support. At Evergreen Wealth Strategies, you will also leverage the capabilities of two Fortune 500 strategic partners: Prudential Advisors (affiliated with Prudential Insurance Company of America) and LPL Enterprise.
