- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across all age groups, utilizing standardized assessments and observational evaluations.
- Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to immediate objectives while addressing overarching communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions with a focus on various aspects such as language, fluency, and swallowing.
- Work in tandem with fellow professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to develop synchronized care plans.
- Provide educational resources to patients and their families to bolster progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Engage in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as required, ensuring consistent care throughout the therapeutic journey.
- Maintain precise and timely records following state, federal, and organizational protocols.
- Advance your expertise by participating in continuing education and collaborative peer engagement.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if currently unaccredited by ASHA.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Mandatory: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic methods for diverse age groups, alongside a solid foundation in both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing concerns.
- Exceptional communication skills applied with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
