Join Our Team as a Licensed Audiologist
Are you a Licensed Audiologist eager to embrace a role focused on assessments? Do you find fulfillment in supporting the Veteran community?
We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Veterans will submit their claims prior to your assessment, and all relevant medical records will be accessible through a digital portal for your review during the appointment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the computer portal, which serves as essential medical evidence for the VA's decision-making regarding benefits.
- Assess and review an average of 3-6 Veterans daily.
Please note that this role does not involve prescribing any medical treatments or devices.
ScheduleThis is an IN-PERSON position with options for Part Time or Full Time. Each patient appointment will last between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Enjoy a schedule free from evenings, on-call duties, weekends, and hearing aid sales.
Qualifications- Possess an Au.D. from an ASHA Accredited institution.
- Hold a valid Audiologist license.
- Meet the credentialing standards established by the VA.
- Malpractice insurance provided by our organization.
- Health insurance options available.
- Membership to ASHA Learning Pass for continuing education units (CEUs).
