Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current or pending Washington state Physical Therapist license
• Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to evaluate and develop tailored intervention plans for students
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress reporting
• Positive, adaptive approach in a dynamic educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ physical capabilities and needs within the school context
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in coordination with IEP teams
• Deliver therapy sessions, both individual and group, fostering student participation and progress
• Educate teachers and staff on strategies for accommodating students’ physical needs in the classroom
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment, and student progress
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel to maximize support
