Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provide exceptional emergency nursing care as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Department. This role involves managing patient assessments, delivering emergency interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival, ensuring timely and efficient care.
• Perform clinical procedures including IV insertions, wound care, and medication administration.
• Monitor patient status using GE cardiac monitoring and adapt care plans accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to coordinate care.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech EMR system.
• Maintain compliance with BLS, ACLS, and PALS protocols, and stay current with certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Must possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and ability to perform emergency procedures.
• Exhibit teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends.
• Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, previous experience in HCA facilities.
