Revenue Integrity Analyst
$26 - $27 per hourJob Description Summary
This role is responsible for performing detailed analysis of complex Excel reports across multiple departments, facilities, and payer groups, including large workbooks with 80+ tabs. The individual will leverage strong Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience to identify trends, operational gaps, and workflow inefficiencies, with a focus on uncovering missed billing and collection opportunities. Key responsibilities include accurately posting payments, recording rates on accounts in a timely manner, resolving payment variances, and supporting month-end close processes in accordance with Central Business Office (CBO) policies. This position also plays a critical role in supporting internal teams by responding to requests, providing actionable insights, and delivering high-quality customer service while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to organizational standards.
Required Skills / Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience
- Payment posting and cash application expertise
- Medical collections and accounts receivable follow-up
- Experience with medical billing and third-party payer processes
- Proficient in EOB analysis, payment variance resolution, and adjustments
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, large datasets, multi-tab workbooks)
- Experience in revenue analysis, auditing, and reporting
- Knowledge of balance transfers, refunds, write-offs, and contractual adjustments
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve billing and collection gaps
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
- Experience with patient accounting and billing systems
- Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Highly organized with the ability to manage high-volume workloads
- Typing speed of 50 WPM and strong 10-key skills
- 2–3 years of experience in cash posting, reconciliation, and healthcare revenue cycle functions
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
