Capital Markets Early Career Associate – New York Position: Entry‑level Associate in capital markets. Location: New York. Salary: $225,000 to $260,000, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities and practice: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents for RMBS and other structured finance transactions (securitizations, warehouse and term financings, repurchase facilities). Preparing and reviewing legal opinions and transaction closing deliverables. Assisting with deal structuring and advising clients on legal and regulatory considerations. Communicating with clients and transaction counterparties. Collaborating with the team to manage all aspects of work and supporting the practice as needed. Qualifications: 1–3 years of legal experience in structured finance, including RMBS securitizations, financings, repurchase agreements, opinion drafting, and negotiation of related agreements and transaction documents. Licensed to practice law in the State of New York. Strong oral and written communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to teamwork. Desire for career development and openness to feedback. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
