Food Service Worker

Under immediate supervision, in a fast-paced environment, prepares and/or assists in preparing, counting, assembling, cooking, heating, and serving a variety of food in a food service environment; does general cleaning and performs related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

Current resume for both external and internal candidates. Evidence of recent successful paid experience in the preparation or serving of food. Ability to follow oral and written directions. Ability to prepare and serve a wide variety of meals. Ability to work rapidly and efficiently in performing tasks. Ability to work effectively with school personnel and students. Apply and maintain high standards of sanitation and personal hygiene. Sufficient education to have basic skills in reading, bookkeeping and arithmetic. Ability to pass Food Handler Permit test upon hire.
