As an Automotive Repair Technician for AAA, you’ll be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure our customers can hit the road with confidence and peace of mind. Available Locations May Include: Columbia, MD – 7065 Minstrel Way, Columbia, MD 21046; Glen Burnie, MD – 10 Holsum Way, Glen Burnie, MD 21060. Competitive Compensation Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job‑related factors as permitted by law. Technician A: $28.93 to $40.60 hourly flat rate with a 30‑hour billable week guarantee. Technician B: $25.81 to $36.25 hourly flat rate with a 20‑hour billable week guarantee. Technician C: $22.58 to $35.00 hourly flat rate with a 20‑hour billable week guarantee. Take advantage of our Productivity Incentive Bonus that gives you the opportunity to earn up to $1,100 per month. Schedule Full‑time technicians work a total of 5 days each week, typically requiring Monday, Friday, and Saturdays. Sundays are off, with another weekday off dependent on business need. Responsibilities Maintain in‑depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills for flexibility in work assignments. Properly maintain tools, equipment, and follow safety procedures. Accurately perform repairs and maintenance on all vehicles as specified in manufacturer‑designed procedures or accepted industry practices. Qualifications Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance through prior experience. ASE certifications or Car Dealership Certifications in automotive diagnostics/repairs preferred, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire (paid by AAA). Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for prolonged periods. Valid driver’s license. Successful completion of pre‑employment screening (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position. Authorized to work in the USA.
