Overview
Registered Nurse – SNF in Amsterdam, NY | Start 06/15/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $1,844-$1,960 per week | No guaranteed hours | 5x8 evenings | Skilled Nursing Facility
This travel RN role requires a current New York State license and BLS certification, with at least 2 years of SNF nursing experience. The assignment includes every other weekend coverage. Local travelers within 50 miles are accepted with a decreased bill rate. The facility may cancel up to 5 shifts at no cost during the 13-week term. Admin fee is already deducted from the rate.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for SNF residents.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in patient condition, and implement timely interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care planning, referrals, and transitions of care.
- Document all care accurately in the charting system; ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety; supervise CNA staff as assigned.

Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in a SNF setting
- Availability to work 5x8 evening shifts; must be able to cover at least four eight-hour shifts per week; every other weekend required
- Travel eligibility with local option within 50 miles (decreased bill rate for local travelers)
- Not accepting previous staff members as travelers
