We are seeking a dedicated Appointment Scheduling Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare team serving the Midwest region. This role is essential in managing patient appointment scheduling to ensure smooth operations and high satisfaction for both patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily patient scheduling through telephone, electronic, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the registration team to streamline check-in and check-out processes, enhancing patient experience and accuracy.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with medical staff and supporting departments, promptly addressing any scheduling concerns.
• Handle requests, complaints, and communications with discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to support organizational goals.
• Manage automated reminder call programs to reduce no-shows and improve appointment adherence.
• Maintain consistent attendance and meet the physical demands of the role.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred.
• Proven problem-solving and planning abilities.
• Experience instructing both professional and non-professional personnel is a plus.
