MRI/CT Radiology Tech

Location: Wilton, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Mid shift: Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled MRI/CT Radiology Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing MRI and CT scans, with a focus on patient safety and care. They will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient evaluations and provide accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI and CT imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and comfort during imaging processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and provide appropriate imaging services.
• Utilize Siemens MRI equipment, preferably the Espree unit, for imaging procedures.
• Document patient information and scan results in the electronic health record system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT certification in MRI.
• Current New York State Radiology License.
• IV contrast administration certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI and CT imaging modalities.
• Previous experience with Siemens imaging equipment is preferred.
