IT Service Technician

Salary: $41,600 - 41,600 per year Requirements:

• We require proof of high school graduation or a GED equivalent.
• We expect prior experience in computer-related work.
• We require completion of intensive on-the-job training in computer-related tasks.
• We look for a willingness to continue learning and pursue professional development.
• We require previous experience installing computer software.
• We require previous experience installing computer peripherals.
• We require the physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.

• We provide technical support for hardware, including troubleshooting issues, identifying equipment that needs repair, installing cards, and configuring switches or jumpers for software compatibility.
• We provide software support at assigned campuses, including diagnosing installation issues, applying fixes, and assisting with network software pushes.
• We help the Technology Services department complete hardware and software inventories.
• We handle the initial setup and relocation of hardware.
• We transport CPUs and other small peripherals to and from ISC for support purposes.
• We coordinate with department chairpersons to order campus supplies.
• We maintain budget records.
• We carry out other duties as assigned.
• We maintain regular and dependable attendance, which is essential to the role.

This is a full-time temporary, in-person position offering pay starting at $20.00 per hour. The role involves frequent districtwide travel, repeated hand motions, extended computer use, and lifting equipment up to 30 pounds.
