Accountant-Entry Level

Position Summary: The Entry-Level Accountant supports the daily accounting operations of the company by assisting with financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, and basic reporting. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in accounting practices while working closely with experienced finance team members. Responsibilities:Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processingPrepare and post journal entries under supervisionReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsMaintain accurate financial records and documentationSupport month-end and year-end close activitiesAssist with financial reports, spreadsheets, and auditsTrack expenses and ensure proper coding of transactionsRespond to internal inquiries related to accounting dataEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsPerform other accounting and administrative duties as assignedRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1–2 years of accounting experience.Basic understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of GAAP preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle confidential information professionally.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds.
