Senior Design Engineer

The Will Group is seeking a Senior Design Engineer – Electrical Distribution to help lead utility engineering projects serving Commonwealth Edison and other Exelon operating companies.This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and building strong client relationships while helping modernize the electric grid.As a Senior Design Engineer, you will:Lead design and engineering efforts for overhead and underground distribution systemsExecute and review load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, and protection coordination studiesServe as a technical lead and trusted advisor to utility clientsSupport infrastructure planning, grid modernization, DER integration, and reliability improvement initiativesMentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practicesHelp drive successful project delivery across multiple utility organizationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringPE license required (or ability to obtain immediately)8+ years of utility or utility consulting experienceStrong distribution engineering backgroundExperience with CYME, Synergi, ETAP, or similar analysis toolsClient-facing experience and strong communication skillsWhy TWG Engineering?Our engineers work directly with some of the nation's largest electric utilities while enjoying the agility, visibility, and career growth opportunities that come with a growing consulting firm.
