Compensation:

$50,000 - $55,000 + Benefits - Bonus & Commission

Responsibilities:

• Keep the company growing by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs
• Set our sales strategies and sales objectives to achieve our sales goals
• Lead our sales team by setting a sales plan for each sales representative, identifying individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing training programs to make sure they’re successful
• Build and foster strong customer relationships and handle complaints to ensure their needs are met and keep their business
• Evaluate the team’s sales performance and offer advice on continuous improvement

• Prospect and develop new business through outside sales calls, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate, negotiated, group, extended stay, and local accounts.
• Conduct hotel tours, client presentations, and site inspections.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and negotiate business opportunities.
• Partner with the Director of Sales and Revenue Management to identify revenue opportunities.
• Maintain accurate account information, sales activities, and pipeline management within CRM systems.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute ideas to improve hotel performance.
• Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community organizations.
• Build strong relationships with Operations to ensure clients receive exceptional service before, during, and after their stay.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and local demand generators.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major
• Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
• At least 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department

• Previous hotel sales, hospitality, or business development experience preferred.

• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Self-motivated with a competitive drive to achieve goals.

• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

• Comfortable networking and developing business in the local community.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
