Medical Assistant - Ambulatory Surgery Center

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for our dynamic Ambulatory Surgery Center at our Salmon Creek 2 location. In this role, you'll support the overall delivery of patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit by assisting nursing staff with patient monitoring and post-op care, preparing and maintaining exam rooms and equipment, supporting the discharge process, and helping maintain safety and infection control standards. Location : Salmon Creek 2 (2529 NE 139th Street - Vancouver, WA 98686)


Schedule: four, 10-hour shifts with variable start/end times on rotating weeks (one week: 6:00a-4:30p, one week: 7:00a-5:30p, one week: 8:00a-6:30p)


Hiring Range is generally between $20.59-$24.68 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.


With active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential, hiring range is generally between $22.25-$27.48 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience


Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Required completion of one of the following : current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential or combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain active status throughout employment.

• Current healthcare provider BLS required

• Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred.

Pay Range:
$20.19 - $28.27
