Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacist position is available at an outpatient pharmacy attached to a hospital in Nantucket, MA. This contract role begins in early October and lasts approximately 13 weeks. The pharmacy operates using the McKesson EnterpriseRX system and provides services during day shifts, with hours running between 8 am and 7 pm.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts per week
Day shifts only
Responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, consulting with patients regarding prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use. The pharmacist will be covering for a current vacancy, maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice within the retail setting.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Active Massachusetts pharmacist license
Proven retail pharmacy experience
Availability to work full-time during the scheduled shifts
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
